The Process

What it’s like to work with me

01 | GET IN TOUCH

I can’t wait to learn more about the space & your creative vision. Please fill out my Mural Inquiry Form to get started. Based on your responses, I’ll then send a customized quote for your review. I’m happy to answer any initial questions, feel free to email me.
02 | QUOTES

Once I gather all the details I’ll create a custom quote to send for your review. I’m available for any follow-up questions you may have. I tailor your quote based on wall dimensions, wall surface, & the complexity of the design. If changes are needed to any of these aspects, the quote will be adjusted to reflect them. If you like what you see & are ready to move forward I’ll write up our design agreement.
03 | DESIGN AGREEMENT

You’ll receive a Design Agreement from me outlining our project scope and payment. The standard timeline from signing the Design Agreement, to final design, to mural installation is 4-8 weeks. If you are on a tighter schedule, I offer a Rush timeline subject to a higher rate. Signing the Design Agreement secures your spot on my project calendar. A 50% deposit is to be paid before we move on to the design phase.
04 | LET’S HANG OUT

After your deposit is received, we’ll schedule our initial call together. We’ll talk about your vision, design options, & process. I’m here to answer any initial questions you may have & may have a few follow-up questions for you.
05 | FIELD TRIP!

If you are local to the Detroit area, I may want to visit the location for more information gathering.
06 | TIME TO SKETCH

I’ll start to sketch & plan layouts using all the information previously discussed on our call. This is a great time for us to dive into what you like best before the design is finalized. During this phase, concise feedback through email is appreciated. For more complex feedback we may schedule a video chat/screen-share. Designs will be sent to you as digital proof. Once the final art is approved we’ll coordinate mural installation.
07 | PASS THE PAINT!

I’ll get to work painting the mural - WOO HOO! Please ensure I have proper access to the site. On the final day of painting, the remaining 50% balance will be due.
08 | MURAL REVEAL

We did it! Time to celebrate & snap pictures with your fresh wall.

Some considerations that affect the cost of your custom mural are square footage, wall surface, complexity of design, materials, and production. Hand-painted custom murals start at a minimum investment of $2,500 regardless of square footage.

Once you complete the Mural Inquiry Form, I’ll reach out with a customized quote for your review. When you’re ready to move forward we’ll book our first call together and your spot will be reserved on my project calendar by submitting a completed design agreement and deposit.

FREESTANDING MURAL

Can’t commit to a permanent mural? I offer freestanding murals for events and businesses as a temporary and portable alternative. The final dimensions are approximately 7ft. x 7ft and painted on wood panels. Pricing starts at $4,000 for Michigan-based clients.
